In a doubles final I thought I had hit the ball out so I went to pick up a ball, meanwhile the point was still going on without me. I joined in again but we lost the point!

Nothing in particular but if I see something I like I'll get it.
Has anything funny or unusual ever happened to you on the tour?
Ordered cows guts and intestines in a restaurant in Japan and ate it thinking it was some kind of chewy mushroom stir fry. It was quite tasty but I felt like puking when I found out later what it was!

I wish it was as easy as some people think!

Highlights
Anne was one of Britain's top juniors and won the U.18 Nationals and a Junior ITF event at Bisham Abbey in 1999.
In 2001 she won her first $10,000 Satellite in Jersey and a semi final performance in a $25,000 Challenger event at Sutton marked her arrival at the top flight of the British game. The same year she reached the last four in the Girls Championships at Wimbledon and made her debut in the Ladies event. She ended 2001 with a string of quarter and semi final appearances and her first cap for GB in the Federation Cup.
In 2002 she continued her good form winning two $10,000 events back to back at Bath and Cumberland, then adding Sunderland and a final appearance at the challenger in Glasgow to her array of results. In October she ended her year in style by claiming the title at the Ladies National Championships.
This year has seen Anne continue her progression and take the GB no. 1 spot from Elena Baltacha.
