Mandy wins 63 46 60 and will play Miyabi Inoue.

Anna is seeded 6 and has drawn Avgusta Tsybysheva (436).

Naomi opens up against Gatto-Monticone of Italy (305), and could face Hrdinova in round 2.

Katie is seeded 2, has drawn Nicola Geuer (294 - the 9th ranked player in the draw, Katie beat her in Shrewsbury last year), and is in the same quarter as Naomi and Hrdinova (against whom she has a hideous record, not that there's any guarantee she'll get that far...)

Anna and Katie won, Amanda and Naomi lost.

1st Round
Miyabi INOUE (JPN) defeated Amanda CARRERAS (GBR) 6-1 6-3

Justine OZGA (GER) defeated Ines FERRER-SUAREZ (ESP) 6-1 6-4
Anna SMITH (GBR) (6) defeated Avgusta TSYBYSHEVA (RUS) 3-6 6-2 6-0

Giulia GATTO-MONTICONE (ITA) defeated Naomi BROADY (GBR) 6-4 7-5

Leticia COSTAS-MOREIRA (ESP) defeated Sofia KVATSABAIA (GEO) 6-2 7-5
Katie O'BRIEN (GBR) (2) defeated Nicola GEUER (GER) 6-2 6-1

2nd Round
Justine OZGA (GER) Vs Anna SMITH (GBR) (6)
Leticia COSTAS-MOREIRA (ESP) Vs Katie O'BRIEN (GBR) (2)

There's an account (which I don't understand) and pictures (in which I can't recognise anyone, not from yesterday anyway) here: http://www.fgtenis.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=432&Itemid=1

I think it may be saying that Gatto-Monitcone overcame both her opponent and a delayed flight.

Pfff Naomi - she's really not pushed on like I thought. Movement is really bad which ruins her return game, one bad service game and she's out.

Wooooo Katie!! Never in doubt

Nice scoreline for Katie. A few wins here can only help to build up her confidence prior to the US Open qualies.

Katie tweets a comfortable victory.

I'm gonna guess its Hrdinova next, but given their H2H I hope its not.

You get your wish. Tomorrow's OOP is out at fgtenis, and Katie plays the cat.

They have today's bulletin now for the Hispanophones, and the ITF has the results:

Ling ZHANG (HKG) (4) defeated Miyabi INOUE (JPN) 6-2 6-3
Anna SMITH (GBR) (6) defeated Justine OZGA (GER) 6-2 5-7 6-4

Giulia GATTO-MONTICONE (ITA) defeated Eva HRDINOVA (CZE) (8) 6-0 6-1
Katie O'BRIEN (GBR) (2) defeated Leticia COSTAS-MOREIRA (ESP) 6-1 6-3
